After working together in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, we decided it was time to start up on our own as we struggled to find healthy, plant-based pasta. In November 2020, we set out to create delicious handmade vegan pasta that tastes great and helps you live better.
At Pastan, you won’t find anything refined or unnatural in our food because what we leave out is just as important as what we put in. We believe that you shouldn’t have to compromise freshness or flavour when you eat food that respects the planet. We’re here to make mealtimes better and unite everyone at the dinner table in the name of good food, so tuck in.

Favourite Pastan dish: Any dish with Gnocchi, but without mushrooms! Oh, and the doughnuts.
Fact that surprises people: Before I trained to be a chef, I worked as a qualified electrician
You’ll often find me: Going for long walks in the fields with our border collie, Jack.

Fact that surprises people: I went to culinary school and worked my way up from a prep cook to general manager to now. We all start somewhere!
You’ll often find me: Creating terrible art on my Ipad, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?

Fact that surprises people: I can write backwards in 3 languages.
You’ll often find me: In the kitchen experimenting with weird ingredients or in my allotment growing veggies to ferment.
